Treharne enhances ATC’s electrification and battery life cycle management capabilities
FARMINGTON HILLS, MICHIGAN (April 12, 2022) – ATC Drivetrain (“ATC”), a leading independent global remanufacturer of automotive powertrain and drivetrain systems, announced today the acquisition of Treharne Automotive Engineering and group companies (“Treharne”). Treharne is a UK-based company focused on electric vehicle (“EV”) battery life cycle management, including second-life applications, recycling, and diagnostic and test equipment for powertrain systems. As the automotive industry continues to migrate beyond traditional internal combustion engines to electrified systems, ATC continues to build competencies that will support customers’ global needs in the EV and hybrid powertrain areas.
